👋Ich bin Philip Stade. Im Rahmen meiner musikwissenschaftlichen Promotion an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln habe ich mich mit Online-Diskursen beschäftigt. Meine Doktorarbeit “YOUTUBE VS. GEMA – Musik und Urheberrecht im digitalen Kapitalismus” ist im Büchner Verlag erschienen und auch als kostenloser Download verfügbar. Ich war mehrere Jahre Lehrkraft an einem Gymnasium im südlichen Schwarzwald mit den Fächern Musik, NwT und Erdkunde.
Aktuell arbeite und lehre ich an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg im Institut für Musik und an der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.
Von September 2023 bis August 2026 habe ich an der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg mit Prof. Dr. Thade Buchborn als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im musikpädagogischen TEAM-Projekt gearbeitet. Die Ergebnisse finden sich hier. Parallel habe ich u.a. mit Dejan Mihajlović am ZSL zum Thema Demokratiebildung gearbeitet. Gedanken zum Lernen im Wandel, Musikpädagogik sowie diverse #OER-Unterrichtsmaterialien finden sich auf meinem Blog. Thematisch interessieren mich insbesondere die Felder Musik, Demokratiebildung, Nachhaltigkeit und Post-Digitalität.

👋I am Philip Stade. As part of my musicological doctorate at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, I have been working on online discourses. My doctoral thesis “YOUTUBE VS. GEMA – Music and Copyright in Digital Capitalism” was published by Büchner Verlag and is also available as a free download. I was a teacher for several years at a Gymnasium in the southern Black Forest with the subjects music, NwT and geography.
I currently work and teach at the Freiburg University of Education in the Department of Music and at the Freiburg University of Music.
From September 2023 to August 2026 I have been working at the University of Music Freiburg with Prof. Dr. Thade Buchborn as a research assistant in the music pedagogical TEAM project. In parallel, I was working with Dejan Mihajlović and others at ZSL on Democracy Education. Thoughts on learning in transition, music education, and various #OER teaching materials can be found on my blog. Thematically, I am particularly interested in the fields of music, democracy education, sustainability, and post-digitization.
